As a former Indiana State Policeman, he has shown unwavering commitment to public safety and community service. His experience as the former National Director of the National Association of Legal Investigators and former President of the Indiana Society of Professional Investigators has not only honed his leadership skills but also deepened his understanding of the intricate dynamics of law enforcement and legal processes.

In his first term as County Commissioner, Mr. Shelton demonstrated exceptional leadership and a clear vision for our county. He has been instrumental in implementing policies that have significantly enhanced public safety and community welfare. His approach to governance, marked by transparency, accountability, and a deep sense of public service, has earned him the respect and trust of your community.

Furthermore, his successful private investigative agency reflects his professional excellence and commitment to upholding the highest standards of service. These qualities are precisely what Steuben County needs to navigate the complexities of contemporary governance.

As you know, as a citizen of Steuben County, it is your responsibility to elect leaders who not only understand your needs but are also capable of taking decisive and effective action. Mr. Shelton has proven his capability to do just that. His track record of successful leadership, combined with his profound knowledge and experience in law enforcement and governmental leadership, make him the ideal candidate to continue serving as your County Commissioner.

It is my immense pleasure to endorse Mr. Kenneth Shelton for the position of Steuben County Commissioner. I have known Mr. Shelton on a professional and personal level and believe he is a great asset to the community. 

I have known Mr. Shelton as a business owner, professional investigator and friend. I have personally worked with Mr. Shelton on various challenging projects; and have known him to be an ethical and hardworking individual that had the foresight and ability to overcome challenges that were faced in various circumstances. 

Throughout the years of our acquaintance, I have also known Mr. Shelton to volunteer and give selflessly of his own time and resources to various community organizations as well as individuals in the community that were of need. 

I have also known him as a leader in various professional organizations, including the National Association of Legal Investigators, where he served two terms as National Director. It was my pleasure to work as his Assistant National Director, and during that time Mr. Shelton used his wisdom and leadership to solve various financial and administrative issues that improve the organization’s position. Based on working experience with Mr. Shelton, I’m confident he will not only do his best to improve circumstances in your community, but he will also do it with the fiscal responsibility to benefit the county.
